Some of these studies are highlighted below: <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Optimization of the Use of Raw Material (Zamak-3)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>A study carried out at the Escuela Superior Polit\u00e9cnica del Litoral (ESPOL) focused on optimising the use of Zamak-3 in casting processes. The main objective was to improve the efficiency of raw material consumption, reducing waste and associated costs. The results indicated that, through adjustments to casting parameters and mould design, it is possible to achieve a more efficient use of the material.   <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dspace.espol.edu.ec\/handle\/123456789\/45680?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dspace<\/a><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Analysis and Improvements in a Zamak Foundry Plant<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Another study, carried out at the Public University of Navarra, analysed the processes of a Zamak casting plant in order to identify areas for improvement. Aspects such as part quality, production times and energy consumption were evaluated. The conclusions suggested that the implementation of advanced technologies and staff training can lead to significant improvements in productivity and quality of the final product.   <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/academica-e.unavarra.es\/entities\/publication\/ea4bbb67-77a7-44ce-96dc-ec14bd17b751\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Universitat de Navarra<\/a><\/p>\n\n<h3> <\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Effect of Casting and Injection Reprocessing on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Zamak<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>An article published in the journal &#8220;Ingenier\u00eda y Competitividad&#8221; studied how casting and injection reprocessing affects the microstructure and mechanical properties of Zamak. It was found that multiple casting cycles can alter the distribution of the alloy&#8217;s components, affecting its strength and ductility.
